What is Beau's Box?
Beau's Box is a non profit Christmas toy drive created for the in-patient children at Ochsner for Children's Hospital located on Jefferson highway in New Orleans, Louisiana. Beau's Box is currently collecting new unwrapped toys for the 2017 holiday season! 100% of the items collected are donated to the Child Life Department at Ochsner Children's Hospital.
Beau's Box is hosted annually by my family, the Kyzar's, in honor of our son Beau who was a patient of the hospital in December 2013. We are not affiliated with the hospital. We were overwhelmed by the love shown to our child and other children while being a patient at Ochsner Children's Hospital. We wanted to help bring that joy and magic to other sick children and created Beau's Box. Read Beau's story here.
